We are saddened to report that the operator of Nachtund World Paper Money, Richard L. Gatto, passed away on November 10, 2007. In addition to operating his site Richard also published "Banknote News" about new world banknote issues. Richard was also an honorary member of LANSA and acted as webmaster of our LANSA website. He was the first recipient of the LANSA PRESIDENT'S AWARD. He is survived by his wife Alice and daughter Christina. To see a full view of the award presented to Richard L.
